UK-designed and manufactured by a team who live and breath evaporative cooling technology. The Totalcool 3000 is the very latest in ergonomic design and evaporative cooling technology. Designed to be as simple and easy to use as possible, it really is plug and play!
Robust and solidly manufactured from special bacteria resistant plastic with a bio-degradable filter the Totalcool has been designed with green credentials in mind. Blowing 45% cooler air from normal tap water the Totalcool can be used as easily in remote locations as at home or work bringing you cool air whenever you need it as long as you can open a door, window or vent to allow some fresh air in to supply the Totalcool.
Lightweight and highly energy efficient the Totalcool can be used anywhere you have 12 or 24 volt DC power or 100 – 240 AC mains power. The Totalcool has 4 speed settings from low through to BOOST for an extra cooling blast in the hottest climates. The low setting is designed to run as quietly as possible to allow you to sleep on those humid nights while experiencing a cooling gentle breeze.

The Totalcool 3000 is a portable Tri voltage, 12-volt, 24 -volt or mains power evaporative air cooler. Pour 1.5 litres of water in through the lid, plug the power lead into cigarette socket, select fan speed and away you go!
A refrigerated air conditioning system is hard to beat, but useless without 240v electricity!
A refrigerated air conditioning system has many complex and expensive components. These systems require many permanently fitted parts such as a compressor, condenser, evaporator and refrigerant gas to cool air. A vehicle or household air conditioner requires immense power to ‘drive’.
Evaporative cooling performance can differ depending on various conditions such as ambient temperature and humidity, but test results show that Totalcool can deliver air temperatures up to 45% cooler (at the vent) than the ambient air temperature just using water at room temperature!
Test results taken on a 40 (C) day with humidity at 12% showed a vent temperature at 21 (C) using just water at room temperature!
The TC3000 can be used without water in areas of high humidity, you can even add ice!
No damage will occur if the unit runs out of water, it will just work as a normal fan.
The TC3000 features a transparent water window to display level.
Totalcool only uses a maximum of 1.8 amps (on boost speed)
This equals hours of cooling comfort – even without your vehicle running
You will generally find ‘low’ fan speed (0.3 amps) more than adequate for sleeping.
For extended periods of cooling, use of a deep cycle battery or battery power pack is recommended.

A deep cycle battery can supply power for a much longer period of time, and can be drained to a lower voltage than a standard car ‘starting’ battery, which has a primary purpose to deliver short, high energy bursts of current for vehicle starting.
Most caravans, 4WD’s and boats are fitted with secondary ‘deep cycle’ battery systems, sometimes with larger 100 amp hour batteries to provide extended power supply for appliances such as fridges and cooler’s etc.
The following results were achieved using a standard 12volt 60ah Lead acid car battery*, with Totalcool running until battery voltage was reduced to 11.2 volts – this ensures reliable vehicle startup!

The sound level produced by the Totalcool Evaporative air cooler is no louder than a car air conditioner/heater fan. This ranges from 46db (low fan speed) to 59db (maximum fan speed) at 1 metre.
The tone Totalcool produces is a relaxing, steady gentle hub – perfect to help dilute any annoying outside noises.

** our Totalcool Warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase of any 3000 unit, this covers any performance loss due to defects caused during our manufacturing process or in relation to materials used, our obligation inferred under this warranty is to repair/replace said parts without charge.
Any issues arising from careless handling, defacing or consequential damage caused by repairs made or attempted by others to your Totalcool 3000 Unit will not be covered.
Warranty excludes air filter.

We first met Totalcool at the Yorkshire Show a few years ago. Their products looked ace, they were British, and there was no hard sell. So, we put them on our wish list for the Sahara trek we were planning.
The first item we bought was the Totalfreeze 45 which we took with us to Morocco for three weeks earlier this year. It handled +40oC in the desert, washboard driving through the Oued Draa, and salty days surfing in Imsouane. It also helped us enjoy chilled drinks and flapjack watching the sunset at 8,000ft over the Atlas Mountains. It's on a par of ruggedness with our Jeep and we were hooked.
Since our trip we’ve bought another 45L fridge for our son's Uni room, a 50L fridge for the beach, an air cooler, and the power/solar panel combi for our next adventure in Portugal. We’ll certainly be using the products for what they’re designed for. We might even be able to change the sticker to ‘This family is cooled and powered by Totalcool’.
We’ve had lots of fun chatting to the team at various shows. We’ve even found a connection with my hubby’s hometown of Hull and my red rose of Lancashire.
Anyway, if you want something that’s rugged, looks great, and handles extremes, Totalcool is for you. What’s more, it’s British.
