We have just purchased this on recommendation from friends and are very pleased with it. Its small enough to move around easily and has certainly helped in the recent heatwave. It cools the room down a few degrees, not freezing cold, but enough to make the temperature bearable.
Putting a cool pack in also helps make it a little cooler. It has a few settings so we tend to put it on high while getting ready for bed then turn it down to the lowest while we sleep. If I could improve anything I guess it would be to have a timer that turns it off after say 4/5 hours and to make the low setting even quieter if that is possible
